Lafo Anklets XL are a traditional accessory worn for Tongan Mako and Kailao (war dances). Featuring larger lafo pieces than our standard version, these anklets create a deeper, fuller rattling sound that enhances the rhythm and energy of each performance.

In Samoa, a similar accessory is known as Kifa and is used in much the same way.

Each side measures approximately 4 feet long and features approximately 10 inches of adjustable ties for a secure and comfortable fit. The hanging lafo seeds have approximately 3 inches of spacing in between each other and hang approximately 5 inches down, creating a bold, eye-catching look while producing a rich, rhythmic sound with movement.
